Stabat Mater's first readings

Nova's started the 2009-2010 season rehearsals with the first readings from Rossini's Stabat Mater, in the past June 15th.

Tis is one of the few liturgical pieces from this best known opera composer.

 

In 2009-2010 Nova's Choir is sponsored by Gulbenkin

Nova's choir has been awarded the Gulbenkian Foundation Support for the 2009-2010 season.

For this season are already programmed Rossini's Statbat Mater, and Bach's Jesu, meine Freude, BWV 227, to be performed latter spring 2010.
