Three centers of NOVA School of Social Sciences and Humanities (Instituto de Filosofia, Instituto Português de Relações Internacionais and Instituto de História Contemporânea) are organizing a conference regarding "Euro and Economic Sovereignty", on June 22 at 9.30 pm, at Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
The conference will have two sessions, one in the morning regarding "The future of euro: reform and rupture" and another in the afternoon designated "Portugal, the eonomic sovereignty and teh euro reforms". Several speakers from national and international institutions participate in this conference, among which Maria Luís Albuquerque from the Assembly of the Republic, José Leandro from the European Commission, Éric Monnet from Banque de France and Jeddry Frieden from Harvard University.
