Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas of NOVA receives on September 22 and 23 several european researchers for the the meeting "Comparative Analysis of Conspiracy Theories". The meeting aims to debate some of the most mediatic current conspiracy theories, such as the ones that involve Donald Trump, the Balkan countries and Eastern Europe. Through the analysis of real cases, there will be a discussion on concpets such as fake news and the "naturalization" of reality.
The event falls within the COST Actions (European Cooperation in Science and Technology), a network of researchers in all scientific and technologic domains based on an intergovernmental framework of cooperation financed by the European Union.
