Universidade NOVA de Lisboa regrets to inform that Professor Nuno Tornelli Cordeiro Ferreira, from Nova Medical School|Faculdade de Ciências Médicas, passed away on January 6, 2018.
Professor Nuno Cordeiro Ferreira was a great medical and academic figure of pediatrics in Portugal, who was associated with the modernization and internationalization of this field in Portugal. It is also important to emphasize the Professor's commitment, competence and dedication to Universidade NOVA de Lisboa in general and NOVA Medical School|Faculdade de Ciências Médicas in particular.
Universidade NOVA de Lisboa mourns this loss and expresses condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of the Professor.
