NOVA welcomed today at the Rectorate the group of students who will attend the 2nd edition of the Pre-University Semester in a session hosted by the Vice Rector for International Affairs, Professor João Amaro de Matos.
The Pre-University Semester was designed for students who have finished high school and plan to apply to Higher Education in Portugal.
The eighteen students who are starting this multidisciplinary programme will have the chance to adapt to the European education system, improve their knowledge of English and / or Portuguese and prepare their entry into a graduation course at NOVA.
In this Fall Semester, from September to January, students from countries as diverse as Algeria, Angola, Brazil, China, Colombia, Egypt, Macau, Mexico, Mozambique, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Tunisia and USA will benefit from a new feature in the programme - the Reading Club - that exposes them to the classics of Western literature.
Applications for the next semester, which starts in February 2019, are running until October 31.
