Doctoral Research Fellowships within the EUTOPIA Alliance: Applications open until 26th April

To enable students to make the most of the scientific environment of the alliance of European universities to which NOVA belongs, and to develop high-quality research projects with a global impact, doctoral research grants will be awarded to those who choose NOVA as their main institution.

The winners of the 24th edition of the "Trusted Brands" survey, which assesses the level of trust Portuguese people have in a range of everyday realities – brands, personalities, professions and institutions – have just been announced. Once again, Elvira Fortunato's name appears on this list.

Call for NOVA students: the next EUTOPIA Ideas Club will focus on climate change. Apply until the 10th March!

Are you a NOVA undergraduate student, are you interested in climate issues, and do you want to represent the University at a meeting of the Alliance of European Universities of which we are a member? The next EUTOPIA Ideas Club, to be held in Venice next 23 April, will be dedicated to climate change and applications are open until 10 March.

For four days, it was possible to present NOVA degrees and also SUPERNOVA, a unique programme in Portugal for pre-university students, designed to help students from different countries adapt to the European education system, and its SUMMER SCHOOL.

The event, promoted by a wide range of academics and businessmen and the newspaper Público, will be attended by representatives of the various political parties with seats in parliament and will take place on 29 February at 11 am in the auditorium of the NOVA.

A team from NOVA Institute for Medical Systems Biology (NIMSB) is already working at the Rectorate of NOVA University of Lisbon and intends to strengthen the collaboration between all the institution's organic units.
