Exhibition "2 Arquitectos 2 Pintores" - FCT
Mathematics can lead to results like: 2+2=2.
This could be the definition of the new exhibition of FCT’s Library at Caparica’s Campus. By a happy coincidence, 2 Architects that “paint” or 2 Painters who are also Architects, fully understood each other in a chromatic confluence without defined contours , starting from the abstract to the suggested figurative.
This exhibition has a story.
Rosário Ribeiro and José Moura-George did not know each other. The Library found common aspects in the two Architects’/Painters’ work and introduced them. A great generosity and openness turned the realization of this common exhibition possible. This double identity, led the Library to ask them one more request. The “scene” of the exhibition should be commissioned and transformed by the two artists. So, a group of paintings will be presented in an involving space created by the two artists.
A double challenge and a delight for the visitors.
