Admission

1st CYCLE

NATIONAL ADMISSION SYSTEM

Students are admitted to FCSH, through the National Admission and Enrolment System for Higher Education, and carry out the enrolment/admission in the Academic Services - Undergraduate Section, within the period set by ministerial dispatch.
In addition to the payment of the first instalment of tuition fees, administrative costs and educational insurance, the following documents are also required:
- 2 photographs
- Identity Card (original plus one copy)
-Tax Payer Number (original plus one copy)

OTHER FORMS OF ADMISSION

Students who have applied for admission through other Special Admission Procedures - Concursos Especiais (older than 23 years of age and/or holders of higher education and training qualifications), as well as Transfers, Course changes and Readmissions, should carry out their respective admission/enrolment through the Academic Services - Undergraduate Section, after the decision concerning their application process is taken.

2nd CYCLE

After the selection process has been completed, students who have been admitted carry out their respective admission/enrolment in the Academic Services - Postgraduate Section (see the school’s academic calendar in this Guide).
In addition to the payment of the first instalment of tuition fees, administrative costs and educational insurance, the following documents are also required:
- 2 photographs
- Identity Card (original plus one copy)
- Tax Payer Number (original plus one copy)

Enrolment

1st CYCLE

Students enrolled in this Faculty during the 2007/2008 academic year, should carry out their enrolment online using the E-Services for the Academic Community website (E-Serviços ao Cidadão Académico), located at http://sophia2.fcsh.unl.pt/secretariavirtual.
Three days before carrying out their enrolment, students should pay the amounts due through the Portuguese ATM system. The ATM reference information can be obtained at the Virtual Registry (Secretaria Virtual) system.

2nd CYCLE

Students enrolled in this Faculty in the 2007/2008 academic year should carry out their enrolment at the Academic Services - Postgraduate Section, and pay the educational insurance, administrative costs and the first instalment of their tuition fees.
