Education objectives

The PhD course in Geology is based on guiding principles and objectives underlying their integration within European Higher Education. With this design, their doctorates will operate within national and international levels in highly competitive environments, governed their formation and organization of the course by high quality standards.

A PhD in Geology seeks to attract and encourage young scientists in the fields of geology and engineering as well as capture geologists, engineers, geologists and professionals in related scientific areas, to conduct research to obtain the academic degree of Doctor.

The ultimate goal of the Doctorate in Geology will be to train highly skilled researchers and competent to undertake and develop research projects and development with autonomy in areas of economic and social activity and / or university environment.
