Objectives
The objectives are: 1) learning the application of different chromatographic techniques; 2) learning the sample preparation techniques; 3) introduction to quantitative analytical chemistry.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge in Chemistry and Organic Chemistry.
Subject matter
Instrumentation: HPLC, GC and GC-MS - basic components and how to use. Sample preparation: SPE, SPME, liquid extraction, lyophilization, dryness and derivatization. Method validation.

Teaching method
Theoretical classes will be in the laboratory in contact with the equipment. Pratical classes will use chromatographic equipment and sample preparation tools. The students will present their results in the final of the semestre - oral presentation.
Evaluation method
Classes attendance is an obligation.
Final classification is the average of: 1) oral presentation of the practical work and 2) theoretical evaluation.
