Subject matter

This is a text book based course: Advanced Macroeconomics by David Romer 3rd edition Mc-Graw Hill 2006. (Blanchard and Fisher MIT Press 1989 is a good reference). The course will cover the Solow model, the Ramsey-Cass-Koopmans model, the diamond overlapping-generations model, endogenous growth, monetary and fiscal policy, consumption, investment, unemployment and political economy issues.
