Education objectives

The doctoral degree will be conferred to students who demonstrate:
a) Capacity of systematic understanding of the issues and problems of Educational Sciences;
b) Expertise, skills andresearch methods in Educational Sciences;
c) Capacity to design and carry out an inquiry respecting requirements imposed by international quality standards;
d) Skills that allow the achievement of a significant group
of original research works in the area of Educational Sciences, that will contribute to the expansion  of knowledge frontiers, and which can deservedissemination in national and international
publications with a selection committee;
e) Ability to critically analyze, evaluate, and synthesize new nd complex ideas
concerning the scientific and social world in general, and the area of educational sciences in particular;
f) Skills which enable to communicate with their peers, the remainder
academic community and society at large about Educational Sciences;
g) Capacity of, in a knowledge-based society, promoting technological, social or cultural progress.
