Basic knowlege of Chemical Bonding and Physical Chemistry
Subject matter
Organic structures: molecules represenation, functional groups, systematic nomenclature atomic and molecular orbitals, hibridization. Delocalization and conjugated systems: Resonance, conjugated dienes, carbonlys, a,b-insaturation, alilic systems and aromaticity. Organic reactions squematization. Reactional profiles: Thermodynamics and kinetics. Acidity and basicity. Nucleofilicity and electrofilicity.Carbonyl group chemistry: nucleofile substitution at the carbonyl carbon, conjugated addition vs. direct adition to carbonyl carbon. Stereochemistry: chirality, CIP rules, diastereomers and enantiomers. Conformational analysys: conformation of linear and cyclic compounds.

Alternatively, evaluation by three tests. Suceed if average grade > 9,5.
Final grade: 65% theoretical component and 35% pratical. (pratical grade above 7.0, otherwise not suceed)
