Education objectives
Goals
The aim of the Electrical Engineering, Systems and Computers Master degree is to provide the expertise and skills essential for the development of a professional activity in the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering, giving students the ability to act and lead in complex engineering projects and the ability to participate in R & D.
To materialize this general objective the curriculum is structured around a set of subjects that define the common skills of the MEESC Master. This ensures the consistency of the proposed training. The MEESC curriculum is organized around strands of automation and information systems, integrating them so that the Master may develop its activity in different areas, from industry and services to R & D.
The program is structured to allow the integration of students from a diversified set of 1st cycle courses. The curriculum is designed individually for each student, with the support of a tutor, taking into account the students competences. In this way the training consistency is ensured.
Skills
MEESC organization provides the students with skills in automation and information technology, both in its industrial and business strand, including areas such as control systems, electrical drives, distributed manufacturing systems, as well as production management.
Careers
MEESC Masters find multiple career opportunities in industry and the services, in sectors traditionally associated with Electrical and Computer Engineering, in tasks such as planning, operation, maintenance and management.
