Education objectives
The Master in Statistics and Information Management aims to provide high level training to technicians and managers enabling them to lead and to guide the collection, organization, analysis and exploration of information, as well as the conception and development of systems and new technologies of information, adapted to the needs of the companies, private, public and communitarian institutions.
Access conditions
Candidates to the master in statistics and information management should be titular of a “licenciatura” at the date of beginning of the school year. The admission is conditional to the accomplishment of an interview, as well as the analysis of the academic and professional curriculum of the candidate.
Degree pre-requisites
The course is organized by the system of European credit units (ECTS). For the conclusion of the curricular part, it is necessary to obtain a minimum of 60 credit units. The curricular part of the course includes two semesters and corresponds to a diploma of post-graduation. The attribution of the degree of Master requires the presentation and defense of a dissertation, internalship report or project work corresponding to 35 credit units, with approval in the terms of the legislation.

Evaluation rules
The evaluation of each discipline is usually carried through a final exam. This evaluation may be complemented with a project developed individually or in group. A minimum classification of 10 values is demanded so that the discipline is concluded successfully.
