Teaching method

The teaching methodology is based on theoretical classes, with concepts, definitions and techniques, always involving effective and attractive audiovisual technologies and in theoretical-practical classes, in which the subjects will be contextualized in real and practical examples, to present in an interactive manner and inviting students to actively participated, encouraging a critical discussion.

The theoretical-practical classes will include a fieldtrip to a Pneumology Service in a Teaching Hospital with several Units, namely, Elective Ventilation Unit, Pneumology Day Hospital, and Pulmonary Respiratory Invasive Techniques Unit.

Evaluation method

The evaluation will have a practical component, which will include parameters as attendance, participation in classes and hospital environment, and a theoretical component – one multiple choice test.
