Sobre o Dr. Sérgio Mascarenhas

Sérgio Mascarenhas is a Portuguese national born in Luanda, Angola. With a degree on Law and an MBA, he is currently a PhD student in the Law Faculty of the Universidade Nova.
He worked as a professional trainer at the Bank Training Institute
(1991-1996) and as a lecturer at the Bank Management Institute (1996-2000), both in Lisbon. In that period he participated in several international projects in countries such as Cap Verde, Angola, Mozambique or Bulgaria. He was the Director of the Indian Delegation of Fundação Oriente in Goa from
2000 to 2007. In 2008 he returned to the Bank Management Institute where he resumed lecturing management and law subjects. He is also a member of the Scientific council of the Institute and a Law advisor for the management board.
His research interests are focused on legal theoretical issues and their applicability to regulation law.
