Collaboration Agreement between NOVA and University of Granada
The Rector of Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Professor António Rendas, visited at the beginning of October the University of Granada with the aim of signing a Collaboration Agreement that will allow the establishment and development of scientific and cultural relations between both universities.
This agreement will also allow the collaboration, particularly in the areas of education and research, to contribute to the strengthening of the relations of friendship and culture between both countries, namely through:
- Reciprocal visits, study and consultation travels between faculty and researchers, aiming to exchange scientific, pedagogical and research experiences;
- Implementation of academic collaborations between different Academic Units of both Universities, including the recognition of ECTS in master courses and PhD degrees (2nd and 3rd cycles according to the Bologna process);
- Exchange publications, thesis and other works that enable the development of university tasks;
- Closer relation between the several Academic Units of both Universities;
- Invitations to participate in scientific activities:
- Cooperation in scientific research projects.
In addition, each institution agrees to accept the frequency of its students in master courses and PhD programmes from the other, as described in the articles that integrate the Additional Term of the Agreement, valid in this case for Tissue Engineering, a collaboration to be developed between the Faculty of Medicine of Granada and the Faculty of Medical Sciences of NOVA.
