
Faculdade de Economia launches JumpStart
The Nova Forum – the executive education institute of the Faculdade de Economia of NOVA launches JumpStart, a free and intensive general management program, geared towards unemployed for over six months, between 30 and 45 years of age, with the most diverse academic background and more than five years of professional experience.
In the current context of social and economic adversity, JumpStart combines Nova Forum´s excellence in executive training with the quality of the faculty of the Faculdade de Economia of NOVA in an innovative program that will definitely contribute in a measurable and decisive way for personal and professional development of high potential professionals that are currently unemployed.
Starting in June, and for 20 days and 160 hours of intensive training, JumpStart will offer participants the opportunity to upgrade their skills and access to concepts and tools that will develop their management potential. Simultaneously, the participants will benefit from a structured process to assist their career development which will provide them the confidence to apply to new positions or start their own business.
JumpStart will have no cost to participants. The program fee - which includes training, materials, meals and certificate - will be fully supported Nova Forum and the business partners of this initiative. The application process includes filling in a registration form and submitting a Curriculum Vitae. Applications will be analyzed by their entry order, by a Committee of Admission. The program will accept 40 participants until a week before the start of the program.
