Influenza A - Prevention and Monitoring at NOVA
Following the Portuguese National Contingency Plan, of the Direcção-Geral de Saúde, to help prevent and alert for the evolution of a possible flu pandemic, NOVA also takes the initiative to provide useful information to help the University community to have a greater conscience of the situation lived nowadays.
NOVA already has a prevention team, coordinated by Pro-Rector Professor Jaime Branco that, at this stage, will provide information and counseling.
The following actions are also in development:
- Provide information in the Rectorate and SAS building and also in the SAS Residences and Canteens;
- Place sanitizer gel in all bathrooms and alcohol rub in areas of large gathering.
