Nova signs Protocol with Universidade Federal de São João del-Rei

The Rector of Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Professor António Bensabat Rendas, and the Rector of Universidade Federal de São João del-Rei, Professor Helvécio Luiz Reis, signed on the 2nd of March 2009 a Collaboration Agreement that aims to establish a wide mutual cooperation between UFSJ and UNL, in order to develop:

• Students and Faculty visits and exchange, in the areas of research, teaching, university management, as well as conferences, seminars, work groups and common programmes of short, medium and long term in several academic areas;
• Various levels and types of courses for faculty and non-faculty staff;
• Bibliographic information exchange (books, magazines, newspapers, etc);
• Easy access and research in archives, laboratories and libraries of both institutions.

This Institution aims to extend its cooperation range through the celebration of future additional terms to the present Protocol, covering other scientific areas.
