Investiture Ceremony of the Rector of Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Professor António Rendas
The elected rector of Universidade Nova de Lisboa was invested on the 9th of July. The investiture ceremony took place at the Rectorate of the University, at 18h00.
Professor António Rendas is the first rector nominated by the General Council of the University, body presided by Professor Arantes e Oliveira.
After the Rector’s investiture, the President of the General Council and the Rector gave their speeches. The ceremony closed with a musical performance.
