University Day

The University Day ceremony took place on the 30th October at the Rectorate Auditorium, Campolide Campus.

The celebrations began with the investiture of the Rectoral Team and the Administrators of NOVA and Social Welfare Services, followed by the imposition of insignia to the external members of the University’s General Council. The Architect José Pedro Roque Gameiro Martins Barata was also awarded the Medal of Honour of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa.

At the ceremony the New PhDs received their insignia and the researchers that won the Prémio de Mérito Científico Santander Totta/UNL, academic merit students and students who stood out in the areas of entrepreneurship and sports also received diplomas of the University.

The programme ended with the performance of the Classe de Música de Câmara da Academia Nacional Superior de Orquestra (Metropolitana).
