European Consultant for Teaching Evaluation visits NOVA
The Universidade Nova de Lisboa received this week Padraig Walsh, NOVA’s consultant in the process of internal reflection about the Quality Assurance Teaching System.
Padraig Walsh is a member of the ENQA Board (European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education) and Director of IUQB (Irish Universities Quality Board), and visited the Rectorate, Campolide Campus, in the 3rd and 4th of March.
The programme included meetings with the Rector, António Rendas, with the main government bodies of the University and with people in charge of teaching quality in the academic units of NOVA. This visit follows the Institutional Evaluation by the European University Association (EUA) concluded in 2009 and the evaluation report undertaken by this entity, where are included some recommendations about NOVA’s Quality Assurance Teaching System.
