NOVA welcomes CRUP and CPU 

 The Portuguese National Conference of Rectors (CRUP) and the French Conférence des Présidents d'Université (CPU), held a meeting on September 16th at NOVA´S Rectorate, in Lisbon. The previous reunion took place in Paris, in 2008, focusing on issues related to higher education systems, quality assurance mechanisms, future investment and their impact in university life.

Foundations and mergers, as well as new ways of financing were also discussed between the representatives of Portugal and France.

Other mutual interest issues include cooperation between institutions aiming to attract students from abroad and the joint degrees reinforcement.
