American Corner at NOVA

NOVA will count an American Corner as of March 3rd, lodged in the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia Library (FCT) Library. The opening session will take place at 11am, in Caparica Campus, with the presence of the US the Ambassador to Portugal, Allan J. Katz, NOVA’s Rector, António Rendas and FCT Dean, Fernando Santana The American Corner is an information and research center, part of a 405-networlk worldwide, managed with local partners such as higher education institutions, with the support of the US State Department which provides database, books and cultural and technological events organization skills. The American Corner of NOVA’s Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia Library will benefit around 7600 students and 560 Faculty and researchers.
