Luís Filipe Lages, PhD is Associate Professor of Marketing, Innovation and International Business at Nova School of Business and Economics (Nova SBE), Lisbon, Portugal and the Lisbon MBA (in cooperation with MIT). He received his Doctorate from Warwick Business School and conducted post-doctoral research at MIT Sloan School of Management and Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He was a Visiting Scholar at London Business School and at MIT Deshpande Center for Technological Innovation.
More recently, he was an International Faculty Fellow at MIT Sloan School of Management. He has entrepreneurial as well as consultancy experience in both business and governmental forums. Within this context he was/is involved in several product and market innovation projects, namely for the Portuguese Minister of Economy and Innovation, French Embassy in Portugal, as well as for leading European companies across different sectors and countries. Luis Filipe Lages has been a visiting scholar in several institutions worldwide, including IAE, London Business School, MIT, Stanford and Vienna University. He has conducted seminars and workshops in several countries, including France as well as Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Finland, Germany, Portugal, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, U.K, South Korea and the USA.
