NOVA to grant Doctor Honoris Causa title to Matshidiso Moeti - 5 March

NOVA University Lisbon will award the title of Doctor Honoris Causa to Matshidiso Moeti, doctor and Public Health specialist.

The Ceremony will take place on March 5, at 11 am, in the Auditorium of the Rectorate, Campolide Campus.

Matshidiso Moeti is a doctor and Public Health specialist. With a career dedicated to the promotion of population health care and well-being, she is currently the Regional Director of the World Health Organization for Africa, being the first woman elected for this position. Matshidiso Moeti is a recognized advocate of gender equality and has been working to improve access to health care for women.
