What have we learnt from the COVID-19 pandemic? Are scientists and citizens better prepared to fight a new pandemic? To debate these and other questions, ITQB NOVA and the Municipality of Oeiras are pleased to invite you to the round table "Lessons of the Pandemic - Science Moves Us Forward", moderated by journalist Carlos Vaz Marques. The table will be composed by Pedro Patacho, Municipal Councillor of Oeiras, Filipe Froes, pneumologist, DGS consultant and former coordinator of the Crisis Cabinet for COVID-19 of the Portuguese Medical Order, Cláudio M. Soares, Director of ITQB NOVA, Catarina Pimentel, researcher in charge of the COVID-19 saliva tests in schools, and Sara Handem, PhD student and volunteer in the PCR COVID-19 tests to Oeiras' first-respondants. At the end of the session, there will be the opening of the Science Moves Us Forward exhibition and by a Villa Oeiras d’honra.
