NOVA welcomes administrative staff from partner universities of 16 countries

ICM Staff Week
15 October 2018 to 19 October 2018
Local:
Campi da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa

NOVA University Lisbon welcome on the week of October 15 -19 a delegation of 34 administrative staff from 22 partner universities of 16 different countries. The staff week, organized by the International Mobility Office of the Rectorate in collaboration with NOVA schools, is developed within the ICM - International Credit Mobility, a program financed by the Erasmus + project and coordinated by NOVA that promotes mobility between Portugal and countries outside of Europe (and vice versa).

This week is an opportunity for partners to get to know NOVA's areas of knowledge, the schools, study programs and work practices, and the teams with whom they work not only in mobility projects but also in other areas of higher education. It is also an opportunity for NOVA to present its internationalization strategy.

The activities will take place in some of the NOVA campi, namely the Campolide Campus and the Avenida de Berna Campus, both in Lisbon, the Carcavelos Campus in Cascais and the Caparica Campus in Almada.

The program also includes a cultural aspect, with a guided tour to Alfama, an introduction to the Portuguese Language course and another on the history of Lisbon and a multicultural dinner.

NOVA develops several staff weeks throughout the academic year, an initiative supported by the Erasmus + project which targets administrative staff working in different services of the universities.

Countries participating in this staff week: Albania, Algeria, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Jordan, Macau, Montenegro, Paraguay, Peru, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Sri Lanka, Tunisia and Uruguay.
