Blended Learning Day - 5th April

Blended Learning Day
5 April 2022

Is B-Learning here to stay? Is this model of blended learning the future, in Portugal and abroad? Are we moving towards an increase in the number of distance learning classes?

These are questions that will be discussed at the Blended Learning Day that will take place next Tuesday, April 5th, at the Rectory of NOVA University Lisbon.

The event, organized in collaboration with the Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata and the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, will bring together cutting-edge knowledge about innovative blended learning practices in higher education institutions in Portugal, Spain, and Italy.

During the event, awards will also be attributed to the NOVA winners in this first edition of the Blended Learning Award, which distinguishes the best teachers in the B-Learning regime: Paulo Pereira, Cláudia Almeida and Rita Teodoro (teachers of Critical Skills in Research - NOVA Medical School), Susana Trovão, Chrysi Rapanta, Cristina Oliveira, Margarida Trindade (teachers of Research Manager as a profession in the EU ecosystem: concepts, tools and practice - NOVA FCSH and ITQB) and Francisco da Cunha Martins (teacher of Financial Statement Analysis - Nova SBE).

"The Blended Learning Awards are a landmark where NOVA uses its international strategy to enhance pedagogical innovation", says João Amaro de Matos, Vice-Rector of NOVA.

The Blended Learning Day happens in the scope of the International Award on Innovation in Blended Learning in Times of COVID-19, an Erasmus+ partnership for Digital Education.
