On March 2, it will take place at the NOVA's Rectorate, between 9 am and 4 pm, the launch of the Reference Center for Active and Healthy Aging in the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon - Lisbon-AHA. This initiative brings together 20 partners, among public, academic (including NOVA University Lisbon), civil society and industry institutions.
The Lisbon_AHA Reference Center aims to be a pioneer in innovative digital solutions that improve the lives of aging populations. Its main objective is to establish strong ties between partners, which allow the sharing of good practices and the construction of collaborations, in order to maximize results and reduce the risks associated with investment in innovation. The organization of a region as a reference center aims to act as a catalyst for growth in that same region.

Reference Centers for Active and Healthy Aging
The Reference Centers for Active and Healthy Aging, recognized by the European Partnership for Innovation in Active and Healthy Aging of the European Commission (EIP on AHA) are inspiring ecosystems, offering creative and viable solutions to improve people's lives and health in older people and the whole community. Reference centers are regions that organize their stakeholders in a quadruple-helix model (industry, civil society, academia and research, and government authorities).
