With the exhibition What a Man is Capable of, which for the first time presents to the public a part of the collection of José Mário Branco in the care of NOVA, the NOVA Cultural Programme launches the Freedom Cycle at NOVA, which is part of the celebrations of 25 April at the University.
Over the course of four months, from September to December, the cycle will explore the legacy of 25 April in Portuguese music and the dialogues between music and freedom in the work of young Portuguese, Brazilian and African artists with a strong relationship to the intervention song.
On the 12th of December, it will be Benjamim’s turn to perform alone in a special show, ending the year in which he released the album “As Berlengas” and tried out new songs on stage.
Tickets are available at a special price for the entire NOVA community.
