NOVA Aerospace – The Concept

3 February, 2026
Rectorate - Campolide Campus
09h00

NOVA Aerospace – The Concept will take place at the Rectorate of NOVA University and marks the launch of a new NOVA hub dedicated to aerospace engineering next to the Cascais Municipal Aerodrome in Tires—an announcement with the potential to reshape the landscape of education, innovation and industrial ambition in Portugal, and to drive the growth of an aerotropolis where airport, industry and academia converge.

The event will take place on 3 February and will present the project’s strategic and territorial vision, communicate strategic alliances with academia, and identify the first partnerships with the business and institutional community, with a view to implementing an innovative development agenda for the aeronautics and aerospace sectors.
