The Vice-Rector for Innovation, Value Creation and Global Affairs, Isabel Rocha, is representing NOVA in Brussels, at the Borschette Center, upon invitation from the European Commission to attend the annual conference dedicated to knowledge valorization.
The session attended by the NOVA representative is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. local time (09:15 in Lisbon) and is entitled ‘From Research to Market: Towards a Blueprint on Licensing and Spinoff Creation’, focusing on licensing and the creation of spinoffs.
This annual meeting brings together policymakers, academics and business representatives to discuss the future of innovation in Europe. This year’s agenda includes strategic topics such as the Horizon Europe proposals, the European Strategy for Startups and Scaleups, and the recently adopted Strategy for Research and Technology Infrastructure.
By participating in the meeting, NOVA is demonstrating its commitment to innovation and the role of universities in building a more competitive and sustainable Europe.
