Roundtable: Sex and Health in a Changing World: Listening to Difference

22 June, 2026
Rectorate - Campolide Campus
14h00

This roundtable invites a rethinking of health through the lens of sex-specific biology, clinical practice, technology, and lived experience. As medicine, data science, and society evolve rapidly, persistent gaps remain in how sex differences are understood, studied, and translated into care. This meeting creates a space to listen, across disciplines and experiences, to the ways sex influences drug safety, cognition and behavior, AI-driven health tools, infertility, and breast cancer.
By bringing together moderators, clinicians, scientists, and individuals with lived experience around each theme, the discussions aim to elevate voices that are often overlooked, challenge one-size-fits-all approaches, and inspire more precise, equitable, and humane health solutions in a changing world.
