NOVA’s Refugee and Migration Clinic of NOVA School of Law, in collaboration with the Equality and Inclusion Office of NOVA University Lisbon, is organizing the conference “Women’s Human Rights: An Intersectional and Anti-Colonial Perspective” on March 5th.
The conference aims to foster critical reflection, drawing on decolonial and intersectional approaches, on the rights of migrant, refugee, and asylum-seeking women, with a particular focus on the intersections between gendered experiences, migration policies, and legal frameworks governing asylum.
The event is co-organised in partnership with HeForShe UNL, HeForShe ULisboa, and the Feminist Group of FDUL, and will take place at Auditorium B, at the Rectorate of NOVA University Lisbon, starting at 2:30 pm.
Admission is free, but subject to prior registration via the event form.
