Nova University Lisbon contributes to tackle the SDG 17 by working together with NOVA Community at a local, national, and global levels to address the global challenges. It is involved in various international cooperation projects, either as coordinator or participant institution, which conveys its ability to establish partnerships with universities in different countries for the implementation of projects spanning across the globe. NOVA is a member of several international networks that facilitate the mobility of students and researchers and the development of collaborative programmes and projects. All Academic Units participate in specific networks related to their teaching and research fields. NOVA is actively monitoring and evaluating its impact and sustainability performance.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • The ODSlocal platform integrates decision-makers and experts from portuguese municipalities, as well as local agents and citizens to motivate and mobilize for the Sustainable Development Goals. Supported by an online platform, it monitors the progress of each municipality towards the goals.
