Nova University Lisbon contributes to tackle the SDG 6 through research, and by defining sustainable management policies that promote efficient water consumption and reuse. All campi provide free access to clean tap water and some of NOVA's Academic Units signed-up to the exclusive consumption of tap water in their facilities. By encouraging the consumption of tap water, NOVA promotes environmentally sustainable solutions and universal access, while incentivizing the reduction in plastic packaging.
