This Summer School aims to expose high school students (ages 15-17) to different areas of interest, leading them to hands-on initiatives and to sharing the lab space with professionals. This project is vocational and designed to help young students identify topics that they may be interested in focusing on and further explore in the future. At NOVA they will contact with a wide range of the most pressing topics while enjoying a social and cultural programme in the Lisbon region.
The Summer School covers four thematic weeks. Each week the students will be located at different Schools of NOVA corresponding to different topics.
The mornings are dedicated to hands-on activities and lab work and in the afternoons cultural and leisure activities take place.
In the afternoons during the week students will benefit from three types of cultural and leisure activities:
Week 1 will take place on Campolide Campus, where the three host Schools have their Digital Communications Labs, Cinema Labs and Data Science Labs.
