NOVA University Lisbon launched the NOVA Mentor Network, a network that aims to connect experts from various fields to the entrepreneurs of NOVA.
This new tool aims to support and consolidate entrepreneurial initiatives within NOVA's innovation ecosystem. In addition to sharing their knowledge and experience, mentors can help define appropriate business strategies, build bridges with potential partners, customers or investors, facilitating access to important resources, adding value and improving the conditions for projects' success.
On the occasion of the launch of this new tool, Professor Isabel Rocha, Pro-Rector of NOVA, mentioned that "a mentor can make the difference between the success or failure of a company or product. We are proud to launch the NOVA Mentor Network, with such a varied and skilled group of experts from different fields. We want to connect the expertise of these mentors with the needs of our students and researchers, aiming to increase the number of successful startups born from knowledge produced within NOVA."
