A letter addressed to the European authorities has been subscribed by academics and researchers who raise their voices to ask with force that, in a moment when a ravaging pandemics is dramatically hitting all countries, European solidarity, a principle written in the Union's treaties, should become the clear hallmark of the collective response.
Academics of NOVA University Lisbon have joined the first signatories of over 6000 academics, professionals and citizens worldwide who have already signed the letter up to 6 April 2020.
