From May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) - Regulation number 2016/679 from the European Parliament and Council from April 27, 2016, takes effect.
This diploma establishes regulation concerning European data protection, obliging companies that process the data of EU residents to comply with the new requirements. With this information notice, we inform the scientific community and the general public of the engagement and commitement of NOVA University Lisbon to compliywith the new regulation. In order to assure this, a work group was created to evaluate policies, techniques and the organization that NOVA University Lisbon must adopt for ensuring compliance with this new diploma.
Having in mind the transparency that the new data protection regulation assures, we inform that all questions regarding the implementation of RGPD, as well as the exercise of the rights of the data owner, must be addressed to nova.rgpd@unl.pt
