NOVA awards First-Year Scholarships to the best students in 2015/2016

The award ceremony of First-Year Scholarships 2015/2016 took place on 11 May at the Rectorate of Universidade NOVA de Lisboa.

The Scholarship is awarded as a recognition of merit of the students that stood out during their first year of undergraduate studies. It also intends to encourage excellence among first-year students of the various study areas.

The students who achieved the highest grade point average at the end of the first year (school year 2015/2016) received a prize that equals the amount of the tutition fee.

This event counted with the speeches of the Rector, Professor António Rendas, Vice-Rector, Professor Nuno Severiano Teixeira and alumnus Diogo Nogueira Leite.
