NOVA communiy tested for COVID-19 in the return to face-to-face activities

NOVA University Lisbon has started today the testing of students, faculty and staff, in the context of the resumption of face-to-face classes in higher education.

NOVA organized four COVID-19 testing points - in Lisbon (Campolide Campus and Campo Santana), Almada (NOVA School of Science and Technology) and Cascais (Nova SBE).The tests are voluntary and free of charge.

During the morning 400 people enrolled for the tests at the Campolide Campus, and 1000 tests are expected to have been carried out at the end of the day.

In partnership with the Portuguese Red Cross, the tests were carried out by teams from NOVA's Health area and by nurses hired for this purpose.

After carrying out actions to adapt and reorganize spaces and activities, leading to obtaining the “covid-out” certification at its facilities, NOVA continues to make every effort to ensure the safety of its community in this return to face-to-face activity.
