Registrations are now open for the business journalism competition "Prémio de Jornalismo Económico". Until May 5, all journalists who have articles published in print or electronic press in 2016 in the areas of "Business Adminsitration", "Financial Markets" and "Business Sustainability and Innovation" are invited to participate in this initiative promoted by Universidade NOVA de Lisboa and Banco Santander Totta.
Participants must submit their work through the competition's website at www.pje.universia.pt. It is also necessary to formalize the application by sending the necessary documents to premioje@fcsh.unl.pt, in a maximum of five working days.
In the 11th edition of this competition, the best work of the three areas will be awarded with the maximum prize of 10.000 euros and will also be the winner of the respective cathegory in which is particpating. There are also prizes worth 5.000 euros for the best article in each of the others areas of the competition.
The jury is composed by the journalists of the economic area Helena Garrido, Sérgio Figueiredo and Conceição Zagalo, and also by some figures of Universidade NOVA de Lisboa. The Director of FCSH/NOVA Francisco Caramelo and faculty members António Granado (FCSH/NOVA), José Albuquerque Tavares (NOVA SBE) and Paulo Pinho (NOVA SBE) make up the group that represents the institution.
The Rector of Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, António Bensabat Rendas and the President of the Exective Comission of Santander Totta, António Vieira Monteiro are, respectively, the President and Vice-President of this competition.
