Professor Isabel Rocha, Pro-Rector of Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, was elected, on October 22, as Executive Board Member of the Young European Research Universities Network (YERUN).
The election, held within the scope of the YERUN General Assembly, was participated by the various European universities that are part of this network.
The new Executive Board will be responsible for developing the network's strategy in the coming years. In line with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, the strategy will focus on the main areas of activity of this network of young universities: teaching, research and innovation, thus contributing to the social mission of the network and its members.
This election helps to consolidate the European positioning of Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, as a university of reference in its areas of activity.
