NOVA University Lisbon has been ranked as one of the top 10 Portuguese applicants for European patents before the European Patent Office, according to the Patent Index 2022 released on 28 March.
This recognition is evidence of the University's commitment to innovation and the emphasis placed on constantly working to develop new technologies and discoveries that can have an impact and make a difference in people's lives.
Patent applications from Portuguese institutions filed at the European Patent Office increased again by 7.6% last year.
