NOVA University Lisbon is among the top young European universities, ranked in the 14th place among those that were effectively founded less than 50 years ago. Considered the 66th best in the world, NOVA stands out at the national level, leading the ranking, around 100 positions ahead of the second Portuguese institution evaluated.
The results are featured in the Times Higher Education Young University Rankings, which rated 475 young universities worldwide.
Teaching, research, number of citations, international outlook and knowledge transfer are among the evaluated criteria.
Released today, June 23, 2021, the results reinforce NOVA's national and international leadership position, a global university - because it is international in all its areas of activity - and civic - because it is committed to the sustainable development of society, culture and economy.
