Professor Virgílio C. Machado is the new Dean of NOVA School of Science and Technology

Professor of Industrial Engineering succeds to Professor Fernando Santana and will be in charge from 2018 to 2022.

The name of the new Dean of NOVA School of Sience and Technology is known. Professor Virgílio Cruz Machado will be in charge from 2018 to 2022, succeding to Professor Fernando Santana. 

The election took place on the 4th of June in Caparica Campus. Professor from Industrial Engineering, the new Dean of FCT NOVA focused his application on four topics: the student, innovation, the governance model and people.

The Professor took office on June 21st, on a ceremony at the Rectorate.
